ACRE defined national competencies for the training of employment personnel in the following areas:
- Assessment and Career Planing
- Job Development and Marketing
- On the Job Training and Supports
- Benefits Management
- Special populations
- Self-Employment
ACRE is designing a process to align training curriculum with competencies in order to provide national recognition for completion of competency-based training. See Position Paper for background, development, and process.
