Important Deadlines

Plan A

April 6th  
Final day for submission of thesis without risk: Your thesis will be reviewed in time for you to make any corrections and obtain final clearance to submit your thesis to Montezuma Publishing by the May 26th noon deadline. Submit thesis to the Graduate Division (SSE 1410).  Thesis must be formatted and the signature page completed prior to submission.
 
April 7th – May 26th
Thesis will be accepted on an at-risk basis.  By submitting your completed thesis for review to GRA at-risk you are not guaranteed that your thesis will be reviewed in time to be submitted to Montezuma Publishing by the noon deadline of May 26, 2009.
 
May 21st - Noon Deadline
For depositing thesis cleared by the Thesis Reviewer to Montezuma Publishing assuring Spring 2009 graduation. NOTE: If you do not meet this deadline, you will need to reapply for Summer 2009 graduation.
 
When submitting approved Doctoral Dissertations to the Graduate Division for Spring 2009 graduation, the Joint University’s deadlines apply.
 
May 26th – Noon Deadline
Final day to submit thesis to the Graduate Division without having to enroll in thesis 799B the following semester.  You will still need to apply for Summer 2009 graduation if you do not meet the May 21st deadline listed above.

Other Graduate and Research Affairs (GRA) Deadlines
 

May 1st   Final day for submission of Incomplete and Report in Progress grade removals for graduation with an advanced degree.  Grade changes can be confirmed via WebPortal.

 

Plan B

May 14th   Deadline for completing oral thesis presentation.

May 15th    Final day for departments to report successful completion of comprehensive examination to the Graduate Division.
