Attention, San Diego County residents!

Grant support available for advanced certificate and masters degree students.

The Biotechnology Readiness, Immersion, Certification and Degrees for Gainful Employment (BRIDGE) project is a $4.95 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor.  It is aimed at assisting the economic growth of the San Diego region’s life sciences industry and was awarded to San Diego State University, BIOCOM, San Diego Workforce Partnership and the Southern California Biotechnology Center at San Diego Miramar.

Current and future CBBD students who meet grant requirements (i.e., reside in San Diego County and are registered for selective service, if male) are eligible to have tuition and course expenses paid between now and the end of the grant period in February of 2013.  More information can be found at http://www.ces.sdsu.edu/BRIDGEProject under “I have earned a Bachelor’s Degree, Equivalent, or Higher.”
