ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Thank you for your interest in San Diego State University’s Community College Teaching Certificate Program. 

 

Students must apply to the program AND the University.  The program application is attached to this information sheet.  This application and one page typed essay should be sent directly to the Department.

 

Students currently attending SDSU in other graduate programs, do not have to reapply.  You will need to complete the program application and a form for Graduate Division (Request for Permission to enter an Advanced Certificate Program).

 

Students applying for admission should electronically submit the University application available at www.csumentor.edu.

 

Two copies of all official transcripts in sealed envelopes should be mailed to:

The Community College Teaching Certificate Program accepts applications for both Fall and Spring admissions.  Please be sure to meet all university application deadlines. For admissions information you may call the Department Office at (619) 594-6115.
