The Interwork
Institute Center for Distance Learning debuts its virtual campuses
this Spring, 2003. Virtual Campuses will be made available to student
cohorts pursuing a credential or degree program. In the Virtual
Campus, students will be able to monitor class schedules, meet their
instructors, learn about fellow students, hold open dialog, exchange
information, go to the library, manage administrative needs and
more.
Aztec Center
Come here to meet a friend at the coffee house or
have a beer at Monty's. Check out the bulletin board to trade your
used school books or find out what's for sale. On your way in, don't
forget to pick up a copy of the Daily Aztec!
Hepner Hall
Come here to sign up for upcoming classes and to
get all the information you need about your courses, schedules and
your instructors. You can also sign up for a tutor or mentor to
help you through that tough class!
Library
The Reference Desk Librarian will help you find books
and articles for research. The library also offers self-paced tutorials
to help you be a better distance learner. Come here to check out
free software such as virus protectors, RealPlayer, and more!
Admissions and Administration
Find information about your distance program, student
requirements, GRE's, graduate information, and financial aid! Also
go here to check your current SDSU academic record or update your
address info. You can sign up for classes here as well.
Information Kiosk
The info kiosk answers your most frequently asked
questions about SDSU, your instructional staff, and fellow students.
There's also a bulletin board as well as a great site map if you
get lost on the virtual campus.
Clubs and Organizations
Join with others of like mind. Set up your own club
with fellow distance students, or search for an existing club on
the SDSU campus.
