Qualifying Exam
As noted in the student handbook, the qualifying examination provides the opportunity for the student to demonstrate appropriate progress toward achieving competence in the Ed.D. Program goals. Through this examination, the student demonstrates expertise in their area of study and readiness to be advanced to candidacy and dissertation work. The written qualifying exam will occur at the end of the fourth term in the program. This examination will cover the three curricular areas of the program, including (1) Leadership core courses, (2) Research Methodology courses, and (3) Concentration courses completed up to this time.
