Admission Process

Candidates must complete an application for admission to both the University and the Educational Leadership Ed.D. Program. Screening of applications for the 2010-2011 academic year will begin on March 1, 2010.  It is imperative that the CSU Mentor form be completed before February 1, 2010 to be considered for the program.  Applications to the department need to be received by the March 1 deadline.  (The next deadline to register for the GRE is December 12 for a Feb 6th test date. For more information, please check the offical GRE website.)

Candidates will be notified of their admission status by late May 2010. Submit the University application on-line at: www.csumentor.edu.

  • A Program Application
  • Two (2) official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended (in sealed envelopes)
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • A professional resume
  • A Statement of purpose (see #11 on EDL Department application)
  • An Example of academic writing
  • A statement of nomination or support from your employer
  • GRE results
