The purpose of this education project is to assist students in grades K-8, and their teachers, in understanding, appreciating, and participating in the environmental recovery process following both the 2007 and 2003 San Diego wildfires. This has been accomplished by creating grade appropriate science--based curricula for classroom use. Teacher training and supporting instructional materials will also be made available in 2008 through this website.
