How do I get to Interwork Institute?

Parking at Interwork Institute is free and no permit is required.

Are transfer credits accepted?

Transfer credits are not accepted toward the certificate.  However, the courses taken for the certificate program can be applied to the M.A. in Postsecondary Leadership with a specialization in either Postsecondary Leadership or Student Affairs.

What are the qualifications to be admitted into the program?

A 2.85 undergraduate G.P.A. is required for admittance; however, some exceptions are provided based upon personal and professional qualifications.

Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree; however, applicants do not need to be enrolled in a master's degree program.

How do I apply?

We will not be admitting applicants until before the fall 2009 semester.  More information on applying will be posted as it comes available.  You will need to complete both the department application  for the certificate program and the San Diego State application at csumentor.com.

How many letters of recommendation do I need?

You will need two letters of recommendation in order to be admitted into the program.
