Prospective Students

Welcome and thank you for your interest in SDSU's Postsecondary Educational Leadership with a specialization in Student Affairs master's program!

The master's program curriculum at San Diego State University is designed for practitioners. The program emphasizes student learning centeredness, integration of the curricular and co-curricular learning paradigms, and analysis, planning, and responsible practice of leaders in a socially just and global environment.

The program utilizes leadership theories to educate students in a manner that will allow them to become savvy consumers of research in order to apply ethical evidence-based decision making to promote access, equity, and quality student development and learning.



The application process for Fall 2019 will open October 1st, 2018.

Informational Sessions about the program are scheduled for

Thursday, October 11th from 7pm-8pm

Thursday, November 15th from 6pm-7pm
