Building
Capacity Online: A Model for the New Millennium
Project
Overview
Project Online is a three year project funded by the Department
of Education - Rehabilitation Services Administration. The overarching
goal of Project Online is the development of an online model that
will build capacity within minority entities and Indian tribes to
improve services for minorities with significant disabilities. The
goal will be operationalized through a multifaceted approach including
skill development focused on successful grant, contract, and cooperative
agreement writing and submission; grant management; program enhancement;
and partnership building. The project will apply distance education/technology
as an instrument for: 1) the exchange of information and knowledge;
2) focused technical assistance; and 3) the development and sustenance
of collaborative partnerships.
