Charlie Nicodemus is an Assistant Professor at San Diego State University
where she teaches practicum and Special Studies to graduate students
through the Rehabilitation Counseling Program. She has taught courses
both in the traditional and distance programs. In addition, Charlie
teaches Vocational Life Planning at Christian Heritage College. Along
with her teaching, Charlie is the Regional Director of Project Hand,
a non profit agency which assists individuals with employment development,
crisis intervention and post employment mentoring. Charlie has work
in the rehabilitation field for the past ten years, both in private
and nonprofit sectors. She has experience in the the areas of Workers'
Compensation, Welfare-to-Work, working with diverse groups such as:
physically or mentally challenged, culturally diverse, drug and alcohol
abuse and with victims of domestic violence. She also has experience
serving as an Expert Witness.
Charlie has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree
in Rehabilitation Counseling, both from San Diego State University.
She is currently doing post graduate studies in the fields of Administration
and Organizational Studies. |
