Application Process

The application is now CLOSED for the 2024/25 cohort.  The next application period begins December 1, 2024.

Application materials include:

  1. Online Application

  2. Updated resume

  3. One-page cover letter

  4. Copies of transcripts from all institutions of higher education (unofficial transcripts are acceptable)

Application Process:

  1. Complete Online Application
  2. Applications will be screened for minimum qualifications and then forwarded to campus coordinators for review.  Each year we have many qualified candidates that aren't offered acceptance into the program.  A significant factor in the selection process includes the availability of mentors in your discipline at your top choice colleges.  Each college has different needs.
  3. Fellows will be notified if they are selected and matched with a mentor.
  4. Selected fellows will be required to complete all necessary protocols as established by the Human Resources department at their placement site. This may include submission of official transcripts, confidential conviction form, background check, and TB test.

PRIVACY: Please note that, by submitting your materials, you are authorizing the distribution of your resume, transcripts, and cover letter to SDICCCA program coordinators and mentors for review and selection.  While every effort will be made to maintain your security, your application materials will be viewed by and distributed to individuals within the faculty fellowship program selection committee.

NOTE: Potential mentors and campus coordinators never know the demographic background or ability diversity of each applicant. The SDSU Regional Director receives this information and uses it only to confirm that program recruitment has been broad and has resulted in diverse applicants.
