Careers in Vocational Rehabilitation
A Rehabilitation Counselor is a professional dedicated to providing services to individuals with physical, mental, and sensory disabilities. They work in partnership with individuals to identify services resulting in employment, independent living and equality. The profession is taught and practiced through Universities in Region IX (Arizona, California and Hawaii) to train Rehabilitation Counselors at the master's degree level. These programs are accredited by the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE).
