Education

We offer hybrid and online degrees, certificates, and training nationally and internationally. Courses, certificates and degrees are tailored to the specific needs of the region and student population. Current offerings are described below:

Degrees

Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling

Offered as a fully online degree, this program involves students nationally and internationally. This CORE accredited SDSU program provides education in the career employment, psychological, medical, and cultural aspects of disability. Students learn to develop, deliver, evaluate and monitor rehabilitation programs and services.

Graduates of the SDSU program often serve as coordinators of existing programs, making services and benefits available to consumers. As both rehabilitation counselors and administrators, they function as advocates and collaborators with consumers in providing information and services to people with disabilities.

Training

eRehab Training Series

The training programs comprising the eRehab series are informative, easy to use, valuable training tools offered to vocational rehabilitation agencies and their community partners. The eRehab programs consists of a National Training Series and a State Training Series, each offered in a self-paced on-line learning format. The information in each module is presented in a narrative format with a variety of multimedia features designed to enhance learning.

Center for Pacific Studies

The SDSU Interwork Institute Center for Pacific Studies has partnered with the local Pacific community colleges in Micronesia and Samoa for over 20 years to offer education and degrees to students in island nations. These programs combine instructor site visits with online education to offer Bachelor's and Master's degrees and certificates and training to students across the Pacific.
