Return on Investment (ROI)
Examining the costs – hard and soft – and determining the benefit of an intense person-centric model of interventions is critical to measuring fiscal and programmatic effectiveness. The challenges and opportunities are:
- Measuring soft costs – referrals, family engagement, etc. – presents challenges
- Each LEA and agency calculates costs differently – difficult to compare
- CaPROMISE has self-contained funding resources
- Difficult to measure full engagement in three or four years of interventions
- Lessons learned will provide excellent elements for determining ROI
- Indicators of ROI will demonstrate viability of CaPROMISE
