Return on Investment (ROI)

Examining the costs – hard and soft – and determining the benefit of an intense person-centric model of interventions is critical to measuring fiscal and programmatic effectiveness. The challenges and opportunities are:

  • Measuring soft costs – referrals, family engagement, etc. – presents challenges
  • Each LEA and agency calculates costs differently – difficult to compare
  • CaPROMISE has self-contained funding resources
  • Difficult to measure full engagement in three or four years of interventions
  • Lessons learned will provide excellent elements for determining ROI
  • Indicators of ROI will demonstrate viability of CaPROMISE
