What happens when the formal study is over?

We anticipate the following efforts:

• Ensuring that each CaPROMISE youth has a seamless continuum of services
• The movement from system-centric services to person-centric services
• Increased awareness and services for the entire family – not just the youth
• Early outreach and interventions for youth with disabilities at age 14
• Multiple opportunities to eventually reduce individual government benefits
• Increased engagement of family resource centers, independent living centers and university-based internship programs
• Increased collaboration among State departments and programs – shared resources and efficient use of multiple funding sources
